Elevation Site Manager Service Agreement

Elevation Site Manager Service Details and Agreement

These terms are intended to keep the service simple, transparent, and predictable for both parties.

The following section outlines the scope of the service and expectations so that both parties are clear on what is included.

1. Scope of Service

This plan includes:

  • Design of a basic website
  • Secure hosting and deployment
  • Basic performance optimization
  • Domain suggestion and setup assistance
  • Ongoing hosting and uptime monitoring after launch
  • Elevation Site Manager Content Management
  • Editable text content for configured website areas
  • Editable SEO fields for supported pages and content
  • Blog/articles
  • Multiple CMS editor users
  • Email technical CMS support through support@digitalelevation.us

This service is intended for business websites that need managed hosting plus customer-editable content.

2. Project Workflow

Development Phase

  • A development version of the site may be created before payment.
  • This allows you to review layout, content, and overall direction.

Launch Phase

  • Payment is required before the site is launched publicly or hosting begins.
  • The setup fee covers CMS configuration and launch preparation.

Priority Queue

Projects are normally handled in order of scheduling and availability.

Customers who initiate payment immediately:

  • Are placed in the priority queue
  • May have their project scheduled sooner when capacity allows

This helps ensure that active projects move forward efficiently while still allowing prospective customers to evaluate a draft before committing.

3. Timeline

  • Typical time to first draft: 1-2 weeks
  • Timing may vary depending on queue volume, CMS configuration needs, and responsiveness to content requests.

Delays in providing content or feedback may extend timelines.

4. Content and Branding

You may provide:

  • Logo
  • Text content
  • Images
  • Initial blog/article content if needed

If you do not have these prepared:

  • We can assist with basic logo and text creation to help launch the site.
  • The goal is to create a clean and professional starting point, not a full branding or marketing engagement.

5. Domain Setup

We will:

  • Suggest a suitable domain name if needed
  • Assist with registration and configuration
  • Configure hosting and DNS

Domain registration fees (if applicable) are paid separately by the customer.

6. Content Management

Elevation Site Manager includes Content Management for configured website content.

Included CMS capabilities:

  • Text edits
  • SEO fields
  • Blog/articles
  • Multiple CMS editor users

The CMS is configured around the structure of the website. Requests for new content types, advanced workflows, custom integrations, or major structural changes may be quoted separately.

7. Email Technical CMS Support

Email technical CMS support is included at support@digitalelevation.us.

Support covers reasonable help with:

  • Accessing the CMS
  • Understanding how to edit configured content
  • Technical issues with the CMS experience
  • Questions about supported editable fields

Support does not include continuous content writing, marketing campaigns, major redesign work, or custom feature development unless separately agreed.

8. What Is Not Included

To keep this service simple and affordable, the following are not included:

  • Email hosting or mailbox setup (can be arranged separately if needed)
  • E-commerce functionality
  • Custom web applications or advanced integrations
  • Large custom publishing systems
  • SEO campaigns or marketing services
  • Continuous content writing or editorial services

If additional features are required, they may be quoted separately.

9. Revisions and Updates

Reasonable support and updates are included as part of hosting and CMS support, including:

  • Help with configured editable content
  • Minor text edits
  • Image replacements
  • Minor layout adjustments

Requests requiring significant redesign, restructuring, or new functionality may be quoted separately.

10. Appropriate Use of Service

This service is best suited for:

  • Small businesses
  • Trades and local services
  • Professionals needing a straightforward editable website
  • Businesses that need to manage text, SEO fields, and blog/articles

It is not intended for complex product-driven websites or advanced application workflows.

11. Ongoing Hosting

Hosting includes:

  • Secure deployment
  • Monitoring and uptime management
  • Routine maintenance of the hosting environment

Hosting does not include:

  • Continuous redesign work
  • Major feature development

12. Billing and Subscription

The setup fee is charged during initial checkout.

Hosting and CMS service are billed on a recurring basis as agreed at the time of purchase, typically monthly.

Invoices are sent electronically and are payable by the due date indicated.

Failure to pay may result in suspension of hosting and CMS services after reasonable notice.

Customers may cancel hosting and CMS service at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund past billing periods.

13. Customer Responsibilities

To keep projects moving efficiently, customers should:

  • Provide requested content in a timely manner
  • Review drafts promptly
  • Communicate requested changes clearly
  • Use CMS access responsibly
  • Ensure that users with CMS access are authorized to edit the website

Delays in providing content may extend project timelines.

14. Communication and Support

Communication is handled via email or other agreed channels.

Email technical CMS support is available at support@digitalelevation.us.

We aim to respond to requests in a reasonable timeframe during normal working hours.

15. Changes to Scope

If a project grows beyond the scope of a managed CMS website, additional work may be quoted separately before proceeding.

16. Suspension or Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend hosting, CMS access, or project work if invoices remain unpaid or if communication breaks down to the point that work cannot reasonably continue.

In the event of termination, the customer may request a copy of their website files and exported content where technically available.

17. Ownership and Content Responsibility

All logos, text, images, and article content provided by the customer remain the property and responsibility of the customer.

The customer confirms they have the right to use any content supplied or published through the CMS.

Upon full payment, the customer owns the website content and design delivered for their project. Hosting infrastructure, CMS infrastructure, and internal tooling remain the property of the service provider.

18. Limitation of Liability

While reasonable steps are taken to maintain uptime and security, no hosting service or CMS can guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We are not liable for losses resulting from outages, third-party service failures, domain issues, user edits, content mistakes, or events outside reasonable control.

19. Agreement to Terms

By initiating payment or confirming agreement during checkout, the customer confirms they have read and agree to these terms.
